Equator Yasei Titanium is an adventurous gravel

Yasei (野生) means "wild" or "unbridled" in Japanese. Whether it's the characteristics of the rider or the terrain they're traversing, Yasei is an adventurous gravel with longer, safer geometry suitable for paved and unpaved roads and longer trips.

"... from my list of modern gravel features, there's a bunch of future standards. T47 threaded center, UDH universal frame foot, flat mount for brake calipers, 12mm solid axles, and a 31.6mm seatpost with internal telescope cable routing."
- Cory Benson, Bikerumour

Because details matter

Equator Yasei Titanium - Sram Force XPLR AXS E1

A titanium frame for life. Or several.

Steel is real, but titanium is eternal. Our thinned seamless tube frames are made from aerospace-grade 3Al-2.5V alloy.

Titanium is more comfortable than steel due to its vibration absorption, but unlike steel, it is lighter and will not rust. It boasts the strength of carbon, but unlike carbon, it can withstand rough handling. You get a frame that will last a lifetime with you. A frame you can adapt to the conditions and terrain of the moment.

Cable port in the head tube

Conical head tube with integrated port for internal cable routing. This makes the bike look clean, the cables don't rub against the head tube, and the integrated (drop-in) head assembly is easy to maintain because no cables pass through it. Plus, we don't have to make unnecessary holes in the lower frame.

Fork with variable preload and mounting points

The Yasei is equipped with the Equator Adventure carbon fork, which can handle a lot.
By selecting the "flip chip" axle mounting position, you can choose between 47 or 52 millimeters of preload, allowing for additional adjustments to the bike's geometry and behavior. There are 3 mounting points on the fork legs for attaching bottles or panniers for larger trips, with a load capacity of up to 3kg on each side.
The fork is also ready for internal dyno cable routing.

Wheel clearance up to 29" x 2.2" for up to 46T converters

The frame can accommodate wheels up to 28" or 29" in diameter and up to 57 mm (2.2") wide thanks to a turned chainstay link. This gives you plenty of flexibility on and off road. All you have to do is choose the right tyres.
The maximum size of a single chainring is 46T (42 - 44T in the case of an oval).

Equator Yasei Titanium - Sram Force XPLR AXS E1

Internal cable routing

The frame is ready for electronic or mechanical 1x set with maximum converter size 46T (42 - 44T in case of oval).

Telescopic seatpost control is routed fully internally.

Number of mounting points

We won't limit where or how many baskets you can mount.
The mounting points on the inside of the lower frame bag are moved closer to the centre so that if you only fit one bottle, you can increase its volume or avoid problems when pulling it through the frame bag.
The other pair of mounting points are on the seat tube, on the bottom of the lower frame and on the top of the upper frame. The frame can also handle fenders or racks.

Oval top frame tube

As well as looking great, the ride is also more comfortable thanks to the greater vertical deflection. The bike is also more comfortable to carry in the hand or on the shoulder, and the top frame panniers don't twist as much - thanks in part to a pair of bolts that allow for strapless installation.

Preparation for telescopic seatpost

Telescoping is not just the domain of mountain bikes. It's on a higher gravel frame that you'll appreciate even more the ability to lower the saddle lower in the field. Our frames are ready for 31.6 mm seatposts, so you have plenty of freedom of choice.

Equator Yasei Titanium - Sram Force XPLR AXS E1

Flat mount, post mount and direct cable outlet

The frame is factory ready for gravel flat mount calipers. Post-mount calipers can be mounted using an adapter.

The derailleur cable exits the chainstay directly around the rear center. It looks great and there is no unnecessary hole in the chainstay.

Equator Yasei Titanium - Sram Force XPLR AXS E1

T47 centre

The T47 centre is an emerging standard originally from Chris King's workshop. It's a classic threaded system, so you don't have to worry about unwanted sounds like many pressfit setups. The larger diameter makes the whole system more durable, more reliable, and results in a stronger frame tube joint.
The cables leave the bottom frame tube just before the center and return to the chainstays after it. This gives you more control over the condition of the cables, and you don't have to worry about potential rubbing on the pedal axle.

SRAM UDH foot and chain hook

The UDH (Universal Derailleur Hanger) is SRAM's global standard for frame footpegs. So you can get the foot in any better shop because it's not brand specific. It's simple to change and in the event of a chain jam, it will twist instead of kink, protecting the derailleur mechanics.
This also makes the frame ready for the new standard of attaching derailleurs directly to the SRAM T-type frame.

For convenient servicing, the right seatpost is fitted with a small lug for hanging the chain during bike servicing. You're welcome.

Equator Yasei Titanium - Sram Force XPLR AXS E1

Rear structure optimised for rider's weight

We use different seatpost diameters for different frame sizes. This way, all riders can enjoy the same comfort, no matter which frame size they choose.

The combination of comfort and stiffness is thus consistent across sizes.

"Titan is still a bit of a heart thing in cycling. It doesn't succumb to fashion waves, it doesn't smell like a racing carbon novelty, and it brings something to the table that you'll appreciate over the long haul, in addition to a certain premiumness."
- Roadcycling.cz

Geometry

The Yasei has progressive geometry - a long base and a relatively smaller head tube angle, similar to mountain bikes. On top of that, it features a significantly lowered top frame tube.
You'll appreciate this in steep terrain in the event of an NNV (Sudden Unexpected Drop Off).

How a titanium wheel is made

Equator Yasei Titanium - Sram Force XPLR AXS E1

Each bike is personally assembled by Ivo Caudr - the chief mechanic of the UCI continental team TUFO Pardus Prostějov and former production automation specialist at TUFO.

30 years of experience. The same care. The same precision that professional racers expect.

Equator Yasei Titanium - Sram Force XPLR AXS E1

Tested in real-world conditions, fine-tuned to perfection

During development, we test both geometry modifications and different choices of pipe diameters and profiles on a number of prototypes. No detail is small enough.

The ride must match the expectations you have for a bike for life.
