A timeless titanium frame is second to none

Steel is real, carbon is light, but titanium lasts. Our frames are made of aerospace-grade, seamless 3Al-2.5V alloy tubing.

Titanium is more comfortable than steel due to its vibration absorption, but unlike steel, it is lighter and will not rust. It matches the strength of carbon, but unlike carbon, it can withstand rough handling. So we've made a frame built to last a lifetime.

Internal Cable Routing Through the Head Tube

The oversized head tube provides a sturdy connection to the rest of the frame with ample space for internal  routing without cable rub. The cockpit has a clean, uncluttered look, and the wiring does not interfere should you wish to put one some bikepacking bags.

The headset is a drop-in (IS52 / IS52), so the bearings are inserted directly into the frame without the need for cups.

Equator Gravel Carbon Fork

Sensei is equipped with battle tested Equator carbon fork that complements the frame’s lines. On rougher terrain, you’ll appreciate its tuning for vibration damping.

An option with three mounting points on each side is also available upon request.

Internal cable routing and support for 1x and 2x

The frame is ready for an electronic or mechanical groupset, including 2x systems with Di2 cable hole. If a dropper post is installed, it can be wired fully internally.

Bottom bracket is 3D-printed and the wiring is routed completely separately from the pedal axle.

Number of mounting points

In addition to the seat tube, you’ll find a pair of mounting points on the bottom of the downtube and on top of the toptube for installing a toptube bag.

The three mounting points on the top tube are positioned closer to the BB. A water bottle cage mounted this way allows you to carry a larger bottle and avoid interference with a frame bag.

The Sensei is also ready for the installation of a rack or fenders if needed. 

Ovalized top tube

Not only does it look great, but it also makes for a more comfortable ride thanks to increased vertical flex. 

The bike is also easier to carry on your shoulder while the mounts on the top allows for strap-free bag installation.

T47 bottom bracket with internal wiring

The 3D printed bottom bracket completely separates cables from the axis. This prevents unwanted friction even when the inner plastic cap is not fitted. The cables are routed through the inside of the chain stays and can be easily inspected by unscrewing the bottom cap.

We use a T47 threaded bottom bracket birthed in Chris King's workshop. You don't have to worry about unwanted noises as with many pressfit types. The larger diameter makes the whole system more durable and reliable, and results in a stronger frame tube joint.

SRAM UDH Universal Derailleur Hanger

The UDH (Universal Derailleur Hanger) is SRAM's global hanger standard. You can get this part at any better shop because it is not brand specific. It's simple to change and will rotate instead of bending during a mishap.
This also makes the frame ready for the new standard SRAM T-type.

For convenient servicing, the right seatstay is fitted with a small lug for chain delegation during bike servicing. You're welcome.

Rear triangle is weight-optimized 

We use different seatstay diameters for different frame sizes. This way, all riders can enjoy the same comfort, no matter which frame size they choose.

The combination of comfort and stiffness is thus consistent across sizes.

Built With You, Not Just For You

While we list sensible, road-tested and community-approved specs across the range, we're equally happy (maybe a tiny bit happier) to do individual builds.

Shiny CNC'd groupset from a niche brand? Not a problem. Wider gear range for the mountains or loaded touring? Sure. A dropper post, different handlebar, or a suspension stem? Just say so.

Most of what makes a bike yours lives in those details. Your bike should start as a conversation, not a specs list.

Every Equator bike is engineered, drawn, tested and assembled in Zlín, Czech Republic — the same town that gave the world Tufo Tyres and, long before that, Baťa shoes.

Our hometown has always had a thing about a good fit. So do we.

Each frame starts from multiple real-world prototypes. The geometry, the build and the final ride check are all done here. Nothing leaves the workshop until it's a bike we'd want to ride ourselves.
