The Ultimate 40s are ultra-lightweight wheels (1310 g) with excellent stiffness and durability for all types of terrain. With wide gravel tyres, they ride, damp and look great.
The ultra-lightweight rim (400g) is designed for both traditional tubeless and tubeless.
16 years of experience, numerous awards in independent tests at home and abroad, over 70 patents and less than 1% of returned bikes. These are not promises, we do our best for your performance.

Top quality Japanese Toray carbon
We use T700 and T800 filaments. Prepreg (carbon knitting) is done by us in our factory. We have complete control over the whole process.Epoxy with nanofibres (NCT)
We add carbon nanofibers to the epoxy. This makes it up to 30% stronger and more chip resistant. There's also less epoxy in the mix, which reduces the weight of the rim.Quality and widely available parts
We deliberately use proven parts that are easy to find. So you can service your wheels anywhere without waiting for substandard parts.
We don't sell bikes, we make them
Equator is backed by Gigantex - one of the world's most respected carbon rim manufacturers, supplying SRAM, Mavic, Fast Forward, FSA and Truvativ to name a few.
We do not resell rims, we are a factory brand with our own know-how and almost 100 patents.
